QUESTIONS

The obvious questions.

Is it actually free?

Yes, and the free tier is a real app rather than a demo. Full map, camera and voice translate, the currency converter, one visa tracked, two practice games, five Aunty messages a day. No card, no expiry, no ads.

Does it work offline?

The maps and all their categories are downloaded and work with no signal at all. That is the whole design premise. Live things like chat obviously need a connection.

Do I have to already be in one of the thirteen countries?

No. It is genuinely useful while you are still deciding, because the visa types and the city lists are all there to read. It becomes essential once you land, which is when the map, the presence and the local data start doing work.

Will Farangs Here show strangers where I live?

It is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off again at any point. It was built opt-in on purpose.

What if my visa is not in the list?

Tell us. Every country in the app got added because somebody on the team moved there, or somebody like you asked. support@farangapp.com.

How do I cancel Pro?

iOS Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Farang, cancel. Four taps. Apple handles it, we cannot make it harder and would not want to.

Is there an Android version?

Farang is an iOS app today.
